In honor of USMC LCpl Michael J. Allred, who lost his life in the service of his country on 6 September 2004 in Iraq, and to express their gratitude to a loving community that supported them at the time of their loss, Michael's family has created a scholarship fund to assist those wanting to attend Utah State University in Logan, Utah.

Ride for the Fallen - LCpl Allred's Run
The 2009 Ride for the Fallen - Cpl Allred's Run will take place on Saturday, 29 August 2009, and will again originate from Elk Ridge Park, 1060 E. 2500 N., North Logan, UT. For detailed information on the motorcycle run, please go to the ride's website at www.RideForTheFallen.us.
The 2008 Ride for the Fallen, held on Saturday, 23 August 2008, was a huge success. Many, many thanks to the riders, sponsors, donators, community supporters, and family and friends who helped to make the event so outstanding. Approximately 136 bikes made the Logan-Bear Lake-Mink Creek loop in memory of all those who have given their lives for the cause of freedom and to remember all those who continue to serve and sacrifice for our great nation.  Trees for Charity
The theme for the Christmas tree in 2007 was “The Magic of Christmas Is Not in the Presents, but in His Presence.” The tree represented the gift we were all given of the birth of the Savior thousands of years ago that still blesses our lives today and reminds us of the true gift of Christmas.
